Hello, first of all thank in advance the time you can apply in reading this paragraph and in the preparation of art based on these suggestions.
Digital Art
The electronic / digital (especially the vector) is the ideal design to reproduce any part of good quality, that is why I recommend all our customers.
Vector:
Programs such as Freehand, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator.
This type of will send original given to convert all text to curves / paths without forgetting to include or embed all externally linked images. For reliability and minimal color matching throughout the process we recommend working with the original color gamut Pantone ® Coated ( "C" brilliant). Save to actual print size (size you want to stamp your design). These arts shall be submitted at 300 dpi resolution, if they are in CMYK color and size / printing. Small arts and 72 dpi resolution, if enlarged to print the resulting quality is very bad and needs of the prepress handling, there are cases of highly detailed drawings or small where it is impossible to improve the quality and that's where requires a total redesign of the art with additional cost. Please be sure to use fonts rasterized.
Formats and recommended programs:
Software: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Corel Draw.
Extensions: fh, ai, cdr, eps, pdf, tiff, psd, jpg
Programs Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc ... were not created for design work and usually cause errors in size, color and font. Do not send originals created with these programs.
By giving us your art, do not forget:
- Display or communicate the names of the documents to be used.
- Indicate the program that made the originals and are always adding to the file extension.
- Specify the colors to use (preferably with the range of Pantone ® Coated "C")
- State the size of production (provided it can save the actual size of production).
- Transfer display technique in the manufacture preferred.
And whenever possible, include proof printer.
Responsibilities: If proof printer are missing, uses RGB colors, does not include linked images or fonts are not vectorized, errors may occur that we can not be responsible, our team will always try to resolve those errors but sometimes detect not always possible. If you have to tweak the design or if our design department has to step beyond the simple preparation of the original in production, there will be a higher handling costs.
Paper Art
Note that the better the quality of the art, the better the playback quality and lower the work of handling. Present whenever possible art larger-than fabrication.
Please send us a drawing, must be made to pen or spot color. As we fabrication with spot colors, the best and most recommended is to send us designs made with spot colors.
